Sie begann mit 13 Jahren Gitarre zu spielen.

Ihre Vorbilder waren die Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters und B.B. King.

Mit 15 Jahren beschloß sie bereits Profi zu werden und mit 18 Jahren hatte sie ihre erste Band.

Neue Vorbilder wurden dann T-Bone Walker, Freddie King und Jimmy Reed.

Ihr erstes Album wurde mit den Fabulous Thunderbirds eingespielt und fortan galt sie als Shooting Star.

Seit mitlerweile 16 Alben ist sie fester Bestandteil der Bluesszene und hat diverse Awards gewonnen.

Sie hat nun ihren Stil gefunden und spielt eine eigenwillige Mixtur aus Roots-Rock, City-Blues und R&B mit Popanleihen, modern und zeitgemäß ohne dabei belang-los zu sein.
